This important new role is pivotal within our Therapeutic Residential Care program, aimed at providing specialised care and recovery for children and young people who have experienced abuse-related trauma.More than just a role - this role is an opportunity to be part of something transformative, championing the rights and well-being of children and young people. As a Therapeutic Specialist, you'll play a key role in working alongside MASP in their residential care setting. You will conduct therapeutic assessments, implement tailored trauma informed strategies and create and deliver specialised programs and comprehensive training for the therapeutic residential care team. Your work will directly impact the healing and recovery of children.
You'll be advocating for the well-being and rights of children, working closely with families, schools, and broader support networks to create an environment where children feel safe and supported. What you'll bring to the table (Key Selection Criteria):We are seeking a compassionate and skilled professional with:
