A position is now available for an experienced CA/CPA Accountant, who can support the business through their next growth phase. This is a hands-on role, where you will be reporting to the CEO and Board of Directors and be responsible for all facets of Finance, including AR/AP, Reconciliations, P&L and Balance Sheet reporting.
It is envisaged you will be a commercially astute self-starter, who has 5+ years experience in a commercial Accounting role and can provide leadership and management of the organisation's finances and offer insights and recommendations on potential business opportunities. A hands-on approach and a willingness and desire to chip in and get things done are essential requirements.

Collaborate, design, implement and review finance systems, policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvement Ensure reporting functions and responses to ad hoc requests for financial related information are appropriately delivered. Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts Undertake a range of other activities within the Finance function as required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance with CA/CPA qualifications essential Significant accounting experience, including recent experience in a similar level role within a Commercial Environment A track record of providing strategic financial leadership Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in preparing Board reports and presentations Proven ability to understand key financial and business variables in a complex and changing commercial environment Demonstrated experience managing risk and compliance Ability to oversee the efficient and effective operation of all financial management functions including month end reporting, budgeting and end of year reports An understanding of HR, payroll and modern award compliance obligations Positive can-do, willing and flexible attitude, along with a down to earth, easy going manner Results driven, with a high level of commercial acumen An analytical mind and high level problem-solving ability Highly computer literate in MS Office, Accounting & CRM's MUST have Australian Accounting experience & full Australian working rights How to apply All applications are to be submitted online – click APPLY.
