About the opportunity: Join us as a Service Manager for our Residential Aged Care Home in Shepperton, where each moment truly matters. You will lead a team that values communication and promotes continuous improvement in accordance with accreditation and aged care standards.
As a Service Manager, you will:
Lead a culture that promotes positivity and safety while delivering our Model of Care focused on the individual emotional and physical needs of the resident. Liaise with all stakeholders to deliver best practice operational and clinical services, including allied health, hospitality, lifestyle, and community activities. What you'll bring: You're resilient, compassionate, and committed to delivering exceptional resident-centered care. To thrive in this role, you will have:
Strong HR and people management skills, including staff leadership and development, succession planning, and experience in change management in a residential aged care environment. High level of communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to engage residents, families, the community, and both internal and external stakeholders. Business acumen (i.e., budgets, efficient rostering, occupancy) and aged care knowledge relating to AN-ACC, accreditation, and expected aged care standards. The ability to unite and lead a team focused on high performance in a values-driven culture. Demonstrated understanding of person-centered care and the ability to work in a team environment. You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining: A valid Police Check and/or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Clearance. Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination, and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
