We currently are looking for a permanent Testing and Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Sydney.

Your role The ideal candidate will possess a passion for Engineering, with a result-oriented and proactive mindset. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on several exciting projects throughout their career with QR_ and Alten Group, developing their engineering and PDM knowledge as an Engineer and a consultant.
As a Testing and Commissioning Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
Contributing to System Requirement Analysis activities to confirm requirements are testable and allocate a Verification Method(s) and Verification Phase(s), documented in the Verification Matrix.Reviewing test plans and procedures and ensuring that integration, validation and verification (IVV) activities fully cover all aspects of the system under test.Performing test activities on site.Physical troubleshooting of the equipment.Ensuring effective management of resources as per the test strategy.Conducting V&V tests including formal customer acceptance tests and writing test reports.Managing defects and tracking their resolution.Collaborating and influencing across multiple teams to ensure good quality delivery of V&V activities.Other related duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements 3+ years of experience.Relevant experience in Communication within Transportation or infrastructure domain.Previous experience of working on Construction projects.Previous Brownfield & Greenfield environment experience.Experience in Telephony Systems.Ability to perform physical troubleshooting.Practical experience in System Engineering and IVVQ.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimum supervision.White card and RIW.Qualifications
Degree in Engineering or related degree preferred.
