A day in the life… We have an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to manage our retail Supermarket customers in Traralgon and across Gippsland, Victoria.
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team.
As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing Merchandisers, driving sales growth, and expanding our customer base within your assigned territory.
Your key responsibilities will include: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and objectives within the assigned territory.Build strong relationships within your portfolio of customers within the Supermarket channel.Coach and develop a Merchandiser team to drive strong outcomes in stores.Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients and prospects to understand their needs, present product offerings, and negotiate sales agreements.Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth.Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports to management and clients as required.Delivering to sales KPI's.Regional Travel Requirements Approximately 1 overnight stay per month. What will make you successful? What you will bring: Sales and/or FMCG experience preferred.Basic Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and PowerBi skills.Outgoing, approachable, and passionate about sales, as you manage the territory as if it's your own business across your various Supermarket customers.You are a confident communicator and have the ability to adapt your communication style.Able to travel and stay away from home every 4 weeks for 1 night.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Ability to work independently, manage, and plan time effectively.This position requires a valid Full Driver's License.Willingness to be on the road Mon-Fri within the assigned territory.Applicants must have working rights for Australia.
