Seonix Bio is an exciting and rapidly growing company seeking to transform the management of eye disease globally using state of the art genetic testing.We are seeking a sales representative to help sell and promote our SightScore genetic testing service for the management of eye disease in ophthalmology and optometry practices, commencing with Glaucoma. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the sales process, and excel at generating leads and building relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the needs of ophthalmology and optometry and have an existing network in this field.They should be a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Often tasked with giving presentations and attending networking events and trade shows, the sales representative must be both personable and professional.ROLE OBJECTIVESEstablish relationships with, and market our genetic services to, Ophthalmic and Optometry clients.Represent the company's products using a deep and comprehensive knowledge of how our service meet the needs of customers and their patients.Achieve sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics.Generate leads and build relationships by organising daily work schedule to call on existing and new customers.Develop and implement territory action plan using comprehensive data analysis and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field.ROLE PURPOSEThis role is responsible for growing our SightScore services for the management of eye disease. This process involves initiating contact with new and existing customers, promoting and demonstrating the need for implementing SightScore in their practice and setting up the SeonixBio Clinician Portal in clinics, supporting growth.RESPONSIBILITIESGeneral:Maintain current, accurate records in Sales Force CRM and communicate information on market trends.Report back to Vice President Global Sales with reports and progress.Ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives and deadlines assigned.Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.Maintain a personal level of product knowledge and competence.Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service and to identify potential new sales opportunities.Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories.Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle objections.Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential customers, often including product demos and presentations.Identify service improvement opportunities and feed back to the product teamWork closely with the SeonixBio sales team in evaluating business conditions and sales trends.Responsible for generating market share growth in designated territory.Make selling presentations by direct, personal sales calls and meetings with ophthalmology and optometry and other relevant clinical personnel.Willingness to learn about new treatment technologies in ophthalmology and optometry.Ability to travel across territory's as required.Experience within the Ophthalmic and optometry industry, preferably with an excellent knowledge of eye disease.Excellent communication and computer skills.Results-oriented team player with an ability to work independently.Thrive in a fast-paced, environment.Must be dynamic & customer focused.REQUIREMENTSCurrent and unencumbered driver's license.Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills.Sales experience within a similar industry such as Ophthalmology and/or Optometry.
