Would you like to work in a dynamic sales-growth role?Do you enjoy facilitating the early stages of sales cycles?Our Sales Development Team partners with the Field and Inside Sales organization to guide the early stages of the sales cycle and assist with new customer acquisition.
We work closely with other teams to follow-up on campaigns and events to increase pipeline and generate demand for new customer revenue opportunities.Become a trusted advisor to customersAs a Senior Sales Development Representative, you will identify and qualify enterprise account leads and opportunities.
You will focus on analyzing business needs by conducting information-gathering and pre-qualifying opportunities through phone, social, and email engagement.
You will be generating qualified opportunities for regional sales teams.As a Senior Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for:Identifying, prospecting, and penetrating sales accounts to achieve pipeline and forecast goalsUpdating lead and prospect activity in Salesforce to optimize sales and marketing processesCollaborating in a business-to-business sales environment to position our technology solutions to a varied audienceSetting qualified introductory meetings for sales representatives and nurturing top-of-funnel pipelineDo what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:Have 4-6 years of related industry work experience and a bachelor's degree or demonstrate relevant, equivalent experienceHave experience identifying business needs through information-gathering and pre-qualifying opportunitiesHave experience engaging with customers and prospects via phone, email, and social strategiesBe comfortable speaking with IT decision makers via various mediumsHave experience with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Sales Navigator, or similar CRM solutionsEnjoy working in a team and have a desire to grow in the organizationWork in a way that works for youFlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
