This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to lead a team of Pre-paid Funeral Specialists who will be offering a unique product that allows people to pre-pay their funeral directly with the service provider. The product is unique in that you are paying for the funeral service based on today's prices rather than what it could be in year's to come. It is an essential component of life planning and takes away the burden from families to have to organise payment whenever that need may arise.
Our services are delivered via our network of leading funeral brands such as White Lady, Simplicity and Guardian plan funerals, and key local brands in each of the states in Australia. Key accountabilities of the role will include:
Lead and coach a team of pre-need specialists to achieve sales and revenue targets
Oversee the work plan and scheduling activities of the field teams
Actively engage in 'shoulder to shoulder' coaching as part of your regular work plan
Help to develop and implement sales plans to target new market segments for business development.
Support sales activation of corporate partnership opportunities to grow profitability and market share.
Support research and product innovation to enhance market position, share and profitability.
Collaborate in delivery of the value proposition for the pre-need product range
Ensure compliance with all relevant legal requirements and IVC policies by implementing effective risk and compliance controls and instilling a compliance culture
Work closely with customer & marketing, legal and risk teams to ensure the process of content management and monitoring is optimized and managed appropriately.
About you:
5+ years' experience in a sales leadership role
Proven success in coaching and developing sales teams
Experience leading and managing the achievement of financial performance targets.
You're a natural at developing, embedding, and growing local business and stakeholder relationships.
Track record in leading and developing a multi-brand, multi-location cross functional team
You possess a great balance of commercial acumen and empathy.
Candidates with experience in financial services sales leadership with a strong understanding of life and superannuation product regulation or investment schemes sales processes would be highly regarded.
