We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Territory Manager who is both entrepreneurial and a commercial thinker to join our team based at your home office.
Reporting to the Northern Regional Manager and servicing the Upper Hunter and North-West NSW region, the Territory Manager will ensure customer needs are satisfactorily met by effectively promoting products and providing technical support.
You will be primarily responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with your customers within the region.
In this highly visible role, the successful candidate will be results orientated, hungry for success, understand the importance of delivering quality customer service and enjoy working with a diverse and passionate agribusiness customer base.
Specific responsibilities include: Identifying and converting sales opportunities with an established client baseGenerating new business opportunities and building new market shareMonitoring the external environment collecting and analysing information regarding external market forces such as economic, industry trends, and conditionsDeveloping strong internal relationships including technical teams, marketing and administrative functions, to assist with ongoing external client requirementsRepresenting the organisation at agribusiness and technology eventsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and attributes: Tertiary qualifications in business, agronomy, or an agricultural disciplineA proven track record of sales achievements in the agricultural sector, preferred but not essentialPassion for the agricultural industryWillingness to travel within the region, with some occasional interstate travelProven ability to expand the business' customer base through marketing of expertise in the appropriate skills areaExcellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate, influence, develop and maintain active and productive relationships with internal staff and external stakeholdersWe offer a competitive salary, appropriate technology for your home office and a fully maintained vehicle.
