Telehealth | Tasmanian Gp In Medicinal Cannabis Clinic

I have an exciting opportunity for a GP based in Tasmania to join a dedicated medicinal cannabis clinic in a Telehealth capacity. This role is entirely online, with no face-to-face appointments.

The process begins with a Registered Nurse who serves as the first point of contact, ensuring the patient meets eligibility criteria before the GP conducts their consultation.

Candidates do not need to be an Authorised Prescriber or have prior experience with cannabis prescriptions. If interested, the clinic offers comprehensive training, including guidance on the authorisation process and online training with an experienced prescriber.

The clinic is seeking a minimum commitment of 2 days per week (15.2 hours), with set hours, and it's expected that you will see 4-6 patients per hour.

This is a salaried role. Working two days a week and seeing 6 patients per hour offers a salary of $113,088 + super. If you prefer to work 5 days a week with the same patient load, your salary will increase to $180,000 + super + $10 per consult.
