Telehealth Occupational Therapist Spring Forward Family Centre is a paediatric allied health clinic. We are looking for registered health professionals to work full-time from home while practising their profession as occupational therapists.
Duties and Responsibilities Complete new client interviews and make assessment plans tailored to their needs (online, onsite, multiple departments)Oversee and generate intervention plans for clients to complete at home, school or in the centre with the therapy assistants, including funnelling clients into groups and parent education seminarsCase manage all clients in department, ensuring a clear, MDT 6-month intervention plan is developed in collaboration with the other case managersGet client commitment, buy into plans, and schedule all appointments. Convert intakes into servicesRun webinars and seminars online as requiredSupervise and educate the therapy assistant team in their departmentRun parent consultations and telehealth appointments with clientsComplete summary and comprehensive telehealth assessmentsComplete all client reports (home programmes, progress reports, and assessment reports)Other duties may be assigned.Minimum Job Requirements CPD training with PRC Certification to be qualified for telehealthGood written and oral EnglishKnowledge of computer hardware equipment and software applications relevant to work functionsStable internet connection, device with HD camera, and noise cancelling headsetA bachelor's degree in occupational therapy with certification in PHExcellent interpersonal communication skills.Ability to take care of clients with different personalities.Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.Ability to assess patient conditions and work with treatment plans.Perks: Leave Credits that can be used on your 3rd monthEquipment Loan available on your 3rd monthMonthly Wellness ReimbursementsSchedule: Dayshift and Weekends Off10am – 7pm AUSalary: 1-2 yrs experience with kids: 40-42k/mo3-4 yrs experience with kids: 43-45k/mo5+ yrs experience with kids: up to P50k/moStart Date: ASAP
