As part of the Sydney School of Veterinary Science which is ranked #1 in Australia, the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital Sydney (UVTHS) provides a clinical learning experience for veterinary students with staff engaged in professional training programs through provision of veterinary services to the public.
We are currently seeking a Hospital Coordinator to play a key role in supporting our clinical services and the training of the next generation of veterinarians. You will support the strategy and clinical operations of the Veterinary Teaching hospital, ensuring day-to-day hospital scheduling and patient admissions run smoothly.

Your key responsibilities will be to:
support the hospital strategy implementation and provision of cohesive, end-to-end services being provided to the hospital support the hospital operations in the effective and efficient utilisation and deployment of resources for the hospital liaise between different speciality services to facilitate the transfer and referral of cases to ensure continuity of services provide support for clinical research within UVTHS provide exceptional customer service and supporting innovation assist with our several community outreach programs, giving you an amazing chance to give back to the community. tertiary qualifications in a relevant field is desirable a certificate IV in veterinary nursing knowledge, experience, skills and demonstrated commitment to coordinate the day-to-day clinical operations of a veterinary hospital or similar clinical environment experience supporting both team members and stakeholders vibrant and enthusiastic, with a strong sense of teamwork knowledge of a range of veterinary, surgical and medical procedures is desirable strong communication skills and can provide excellent customer service the ability to effectively communicate with academics, veterinarians, nurses and senior staff a professional and hardworking ethic, and committed to providing exceptional patient care.
