Alternaleaf is Montu's leading clinic focused on a holistic approach to alternative medicine.
We are seeking dedicated Doctors to join our team on a permanent basis in either a part-time or full-time capacity.
As an Alternaleaf prescriber, you will be conducting Telehealth consultations via Coviu and prescribing alternative treatment plans to patients for a spectrum of physical and mental conditions.
You'll influence both patient outcomes and clinical satisfaction through best-in-class systems, protocols, and ongoing support, and help shape the evolving healthcare landscape by developing clinical insights, setting industry benchmarks, and influencing regulatory standards that define patient care.
What you can expect: Permanent Full Time or Part Time opportunities available: Choose the hours and days that suit you best, ensuring a perfect work-life balance.
This could be full-time or part-time.
Your chosen days and hours will be fixed.
Work From Home: Work from the comfort of your home anywhere in Australia (excluding South Australia).
Comprehensive Training: We provide full training to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed, as well as full assistance with gaining your Authorised Prescriber Licence for all categories.
We cover the costs of this (~$2000) and our SAGED accredited courses count towards your CPD hours.  Dedicated Support: Clinical support and education available throughout clinical hours by our Doctor Support Team Competitive salary: Base salary + bonus per consult + superannuation Qualifications We are seeking Doctors who have an interest in alternative health treatments and have an ongoing commitment to our patients and the Alternaleaf team.
Medical Degree Full working rights - we do not offer sponsorship AHPRA registration with nil restrictions or conditions Experience working within the Australian healthcare system Authorised Prescriber (AP) for medicinal cannabis highly regarded but not mandatory Availability to work a minimum of 15.2 hours per week  Medical Indemnity Insurance - covering telehealth & prescribing for schedule 8 medications including medical cannabis Able to obtain a Medicare Provider Number  Must be based in Australia (we do not offer the ability to work form overseas)  Excellent communication, strong work ethic and attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast-paced and agile environment Additional Information You will be joining a highly motivated dynamic team who will support you on your journey from the start.
The Education team will take you through onboarding, ensuring you are equipped with all the knowledge needed to run consults.
You will have a designated Doctor Support Team Leader to assist with any queries during clinic operating hours, including monthly 1:1's and individualised fortnightly data reports.
