Telehandler operators required for large expansion of works in a permanent capacity. Your new company This expanding company has got a large pipeline for projects into 2024 and beyond. The projects currently consist of developing and building large-scale residential apartments and townhouses in both Coombs and Denman Prospect. There is also the development of high-end townhouses and apartments taking place more centralised to Canberra centre. With expansion on these projects and others in the pipeline, this company requires skilled personnel to operate on site machines and perform labouring duties around the site in line with general upkeep, installation, or removal of goods. Your new role Within this role you will be performing mostly machine operations and labouring for the company, including duties such as: Operating on site Telehandlers (requiring either a gold card or CN or above ticket) Liaising with onsite management regarding removal of skips, pallets, large scale items needing to be moved by a Telehandler. Unloading incoming deliveries on site, storing them in appropriate areas, moving delivered goods to working areas upon usage. On ground labouring, including the use of powered and hand tools, removal of rubbish, moving site-related materials around to storage areas or working zones. Creating exclusion zones and monitoring works requiring safe work permits. What you'll need to succeed In this role you will require the following qualifications / tickets to succeed: White Card. Asbestos Awareness Card. Crystalline Silica Exposure Prevention Card. Gold Card (THSA) or CN Crane Ticket (Non-Slewing Crane). C Class (or above) Driving Licence.
