DIDO opportunity (Gunnedah/Tamworth region) $150k + super + company service vehicle Full-time permanent role 7/7 roster / 12 hour shifts Travel to and from camp during work hours (first and last day of roster) Camp accommodation and meals Opportunity to work for an industry leader Ongoing training and career development opportunity Our client is a market leader in the telecommunications sector providing service and products to the mining, industrial, logistics, construction, marine, and emergency services sector.

Due to growth, we're seeking a Telecommunications Technician to join their team, based permanently in the Gunnedah region. Within this role, you will be responsible for executing, servicing, and maintaining various equipment on mine sites ensuring client expectations are met and positive customer relationships are developed and maintained.

What We're Looking For Trade level certificate electronics, telecommunications, electrical, auto electrics or similar field accepted. Proven ability to work in a similar role within the mining or telecommunications industry. Experience in leading technical service delivery teams for planning, installing, commissioning, and delivering solutions, and prioritizing planned and unplanned workload. Exposure to LTE networks, DRS radio and/or fleet management systems previously. Communication Systems across a range of equipment including draglines, excavators, haul trucks and light vehicles. Familiarity with collision avoidance and fatigue monitoring systems. Public announcement, radar and display, compass, access control, CCTV, UPS, and complex antenna systems experience is desirable. Proven ability to work as part of a technical team assisting with functional specification requirements. Ability to integrate and implement technical solutions with management and user groups. Ability to problem solve and fault-find in time-critical situations. Order 43 (or willing to obtain). Working safely at heights certificate. Tower rescue training. First Aid certificate. Exceptional customer service skills. Ownership and responsibility of the role. Driven and motivated to excel. Results-oriented. Customer-focused.
