We are seeking Telecommunications Technicians for our Brisbane, QLD team.Job DescriptionDay to day, you'll expect to:Install, test and commission fibre optic and copper infrastructure.'Rack and stack' enterprise IT and computer equipment, including servers, networking equipment, routers, switches, cooling units, cables and cable management trays.Install and patch switches, servers, storage arrays and other ICT equipment.Decommission ICT equipment.Install cable containment units.Work with computers.Actively contribute your technical expertise within a team of professional, skilled installation technicians.Liaise with company clients and customers.Contribute to the maintenance of a safe working environment.Work within the commercial, office, data centre and industrial spaces.Bring your understanding of lighting systems and emergency egress lighting.Maintain a high level of workmanship on the job site.Work within highly established teams of technicians and apprentices.Play a pivotal role in mentoring and training apprentices, fostering their hands-on development.Utilise your strong communication skills to liaise with clients and collaborate within a fast-paced, growing environment.About YouYou will:Hold a current ACMA cabling licence, with endorsements in structured and fibre optics, as well as your WHS White Card. Dual electricians would be highly regarded.Bring expertise in technical telecommunications, specialising in cabling, fitouts and advanced fibre optic installations.Be confident in working with servers, networking equipment, routers, switches, cooling units and WiFi.
