Job OverviewMining role! * $50-55 per hour + super + company service vehicle
Full-time permanent roleMonday to Friday 7.30am to 4pmOpportunity to work for an industry leaderOngoing training and career development opportunityOur client is a market leader in the telecommunications sector providing service and products to the mining, industrial, logistics, construction, marine, and emergency services sector.
Due to growth, we're seeking a Telecommunications Technician to join their team, based permanently in the Hunter Valley region to service local mine sites. Within this role, you will be responsible for executing, servicing, and maintaining various equipment on mine sites, ensuring client expectations are met and positive customer relationships are developed and maintained.
What We're Looking ForTrade level certificate in electronics, telecommunications, electrical, auto electrics, or a similar field.Proven ability to work in a similar role within the mining or telecommunications industry.Experience in leading technical service delivery teams for planning, installing, commissioning, and delivering solutions, and prioritizing planned and unplanned workload.Exposure to LTE networks, DRS radio, and/or fleet management systems.Communication Systems experience across a range of equipment including draglines, excavators, haul trucks, and light vehicles.Familiarity with collision avoidance and fatigue monitoring systems.Experience with public announcement, radar and display, compass, access control, CCTV, UPS, and complex antenna systems is desirable.Proven ability to work as part of a technical team assisting with functional specification requirements.Ability to integrate and implement technical solutions with management and user groups.Ability to problem solve and fault-find in time-critical situations.Order 43 (or willing to obtain).Working safely at heights certificate.Tower rescue training.First Aid certificate.Exceptional customer service skills.Ownership and responsibility of the role.Driven and motivated to excel.Results-oriented.Customer-focused.Benefits$50-55 per hour + super + company service vehicleFull-time permanent roleMonday to Friday 7.30am to 4pmOpportunity to work for an industry leaderOngoing training and career development opportunityIf you're ready for a change or looking to take a leap forward in your career, apply today!
