As a Telecommunications Lineworker at Zme Pty Ltd, you will play a vital role in maintaining and expanding the company's telecommunications infrastructure across the Tamworth NSW 2340 region. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of overhead and underground telecommunications cables, ensuring reliable and high-quality service for our customers.
What you'll be doing Installing, repairing, and maintaining overhead and underground telecommunications cables and related equipment Performing preventive maintenance and responding to emergency service calls to restore service Collaborating with the engineering team to plan and execute network expansion projects Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work performed Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices What we're looking for Minimum 2 years' experience as a Telecommunications Lineworker or in a similar role Qualification required is AQF Certificate 3 in Telecommunications Proficient in the installation, repair, and maintenance of overhead and underground telecommunications cables Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality work Ability to work independently and as part of a team A valid driver's license and willingness to work at heights and in various weather conditions Certification in telecommunications cabling or a related field is preferred What we offer At Zme Pty Ltd, we are committed to providing a supportive and collaborative work environment that fosters the growth and development of our employees.
