Job Description - Telecommunications Design Engineer – EOI (261621) UGL is an employer with a difference, jump on board and experience our incredible journey. About the role UGL's Engineering business is expecting significant growth in 2025 as we support major Rail and Tunnel Infrastructure Projects. As a result, we have an Expression of Interest open for the following roles: Discipline Lead Engineer – ROS Discipline Lead Engineer – Telecoms Telecommunications Design Engineer The Telecommunications Engineer's role is to specialise in designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining communication systems which may involve various networks like WAN, LAN, 4 G, 5 G, and Digital Radio. About You Experience in Radio System Designs, preferable experience with PMR, Mobile Systems, or Broadcasting Systems. Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally. Must have an Australian Driver Licence. Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, email. Experience gained in the rail, automotive, military, Defence, avionics, or any other safety-critical environment. UGL – Big projects. Big careers.
