As part of this growth, the company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its expanding team in Adelaide.
Position Overview
The Project Manager will oversee a cross-functional team responsible for the development of complex hardware and software components. This role demands proficiency in both traditional waterfall and agile project management methodologies as well as in managing large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities Oversee all project phases using waterfall and agile methods. Lead and coordinate a diverse engineering team. Develop project timelines, schedules, and budgets to achieve milestones. Act as the primary point of contact, providing regular updates and managing expectations. Identify and mitigate project risks. Maintain project documentation and provide reports to leadership and stakeholders. Use Microsoft Project, Excel, and other tools for tracking and communication. Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and security requirements. Qualifications & Experience Proven experience in project management, particularly with hardware and/or software projects, ideally within the aerospace or defence industries. Strong proficiency in both waterfall and agile project management methodologies. Skilled in Microsoft Project, Excel, and other Microsoft Office tools. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. Eligibility to obtain and maintain an NV-1 security clearance.Must hold Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship. Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, IT, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are advantageous but not mandatory. On offer & Benefits
