Contract/Temp Azure Minerals is developing the world-class Andover lithium deposits located in the West Pilbara region of Western Australia. Azure is a wholly owned subsidiary of SH Mining Pty Ltd, a company jointly owned by SQM Australia and Hancock Prospecting - undertaking an accelerated growth strategy to rapidly advance the globally significant Andover Project.
We are now looking for a Technology Project Manager to join our team in a newly created role. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Technology Project Manager will play a pivotal part in the creation of a future-focused technology roadmap for Azure. Initially offered on a 12-month fixed term contract, this role will be based from our West Perth Office supporting both corporate and site-based operations, ensuring all technology systems are effective, secure, and aligned with the company's strategic goals.
The Role:Develop and implement a roadmap of technology projects as requested by department managers.Maintain the day-to-day IT operations to ensure reliability, being the central point of contact for the business in managing IT matters.Manage external vendor relationships across network, communications, and support helpdesk across all Azure locations.Govern the storage of data through a range of platforms and the network.Obtain an independent annual cyber security audit and address recommendations to mitigate risks.Develop and onboard IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring expenditure is forecasted including supporting project expenditure applications.Develop and ensure service level agreements are met.Requirements:At least 5 years' experience in a similar senior technology role, ideally with exposure to mining operations.Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent.Experience in defining and executing IT strategy aligned with business objectives.Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within parameters, with a strong understanding of project management framework.Professional certification in Project Management Professional is highly desirable.Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage a range of internal and external stakeholders.What you can expect:Great management starts from the top down; we are inclusive and respectful and allow people the autonomy to do what they do best.
