This dynamic team plays a critical role in delivering high-quality broadcast and media solutions across television, radio, and online platforms.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, and be responsible for providing essential technical support for live production operations and critical broadcast services locally and nationally.
Key Responsibilities: Provide advanced technical support for audio, visual, and media IP systems across broadcast studios and production environments.Contribute to the planning and execution of broadcast technology projects, ensuring systems are operational and maintained to the highest standards.Monitor and troubleshoot broadcast systems to minimize disruption and address equipment faults in real-time.Collaborate with internal teams to analyse broadcast and content needs, offering solutions for optimal performance.Support the installation, commissioning, and testing of broadcast equipment, including networking infrastructure and audio/video routing.Manage broadcast systems like playout automation, transmission encoding, non-linear editing, and digital asset management.Document technical workflows and maintain system integrity across live production and media transformation processes.Requirements: Strong experience in AV technology, broadcast engineering, and IT support functions.Proficiency in troubleshooting, fault resolution, and networking infrastructure, particularly baseband, DANTE, Livewire and SMPTE 2110 protocols.Familiarity with broadcast transmission systems, including SDI, AES67, LiveU and satellite systems.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.Willingness to work shifts, including a 24/7 roster.NSW driver's license and ability to travel intra- and interstate.Certifications such as Media Industry Technologist Certification (MITC) are advantageous.Why Join Us?
