Clarence Valley Council is seeking a skilled GIS Analyst to join our innovative team.
In this dynamic role, you will manage, maintain, and enhance our spatial systems, including cutting-edge Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) and drone technology. You'll provide essential technical support, training, and education to staff, ensuring the effective use of spatial data for analysis and decision-making. As a key contributor, you'll identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives, manage the integration of new technologies, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

To be considered for this position you will need to: Address the essential criteriaAttach a cover letter (2 pages maximum) and an up-to-date resume (5 pages maximum) that clearly details your skills & experience as relevant to this position. You will need to demonstrate how you meet the focus capabilities and how your skills will enable you to achieve the key accountabilities.Target questions - answer the 3 target questions - maximum 300 words each question Q1. How have you previously managed and maintained Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) or similar spatial systems? Q2. Can you provide examples of how you identified and implemented continuous improvement initiatives within these systems, particularly with the integration of new technologies such as drones? Q3. Describe a situation where you had to explain complex technical issues related to spatial systems or drone technology to stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge.
