About the Role
We are looking for multiple Telecommunication/Radio and Field Technicians to assist with the installation and maintenance of our telecommunications systems. In this role, you will combine your technical experience with strong customer service to provide timely response to equipment issues. If you don't have prior experience working with critical communications technologies or on mine sites, we offer comprehensive training and support, so you can work safely to fault find and repair equipment.

The role will include the following tasks:
Design and configure IP networks Repair, maintain and install radio communication, CCTV systems and wireless networks Install, configure, commission and support CCTV and communications equipment Fault identification and repair of networks Conduct RF Active and Passive site surveys, providing in-depth analysis Respond to equipment issues and problem solve to achieve positive outcomes in a timely manner About You
To be successful in this role, you will enjoy working in a team environment and demonstrate a strong and professional commitment to safe work practices. Prior experience in the installation, maintenance and fault identification of communications systems is highly regarded. Essential Criteria
Cert III or IV in Telecommunications ACMA OPEN Licence (including structured, coaxial, optic fibre endorsements) Experience in IP network technologies, configuration and fault identification Demonstrated experience in the installation, maintenance and fault identification of digital radio systems Structured thinking and sound analytical skills in fault-finding and problem solving Positive attitude, highly self motivated with good attention to detail Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, work with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team Excellent communication and customer service skills Valid Australian manual C class drivers licence and ability to travel as required Desirable - considered favourably
Experience in mining and resources sector, including current mine site inductions Order 43 and Coal Board Medicals Initial response first aid certificate (or higher) Working at Heights (high risk license with EWP over 11m), and in Enclosed Spaces Knowledge and understanding of network monitoring tools such as Solarwinds Previous experience with CCTV configuration and installation (Milestone, Bosch, Axis) Cisco qualifications Rajant certification or experience Reports To : Operations Manager
