Recognition: Service and recognition awards for your dedication Your Role: Reporting to the Principal EIC Engineer, the Electrical Project Engineer will focus on Electrical, Instrumentation and Control System project design whilst ensuring compliance to Australian and internal standards.
You'll be tasked with developing safe and efficient project designs, negotiating work schedules with site personnel, capturing SAP master data, development of commissioning and quality plans and maintaining an accurate project risk register all in conjunction with the construction team.
About You: We're seeking a proactive individual who thrives on identifying opportunities to challenge themselves in a compacted work schedule.
You will be instrumental in mitigating business risks by fostering cost reduction and work control through standardization, effective project designs, and applying robust work management principles.
As a minimum you will hold or be progressing towards holding:
Trade Certificate and Associate-Degree, Advanced-Diploma AQF level 6 in Engineering with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a technical role. OR Bachelor AQF level 8 in Engineering and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical role. A thorough understanding of the Electrical Safety Act, and the associated electrical standards.
Experience in and knowledge of the raw sugar manufacturing process is well regarded but not essential.
Computer literacy in Microsoft applications and Maintenance Management systems including Microsoft Office Suite and ERP applications (SAP).
Strong Demonstrated WHS & E knowledge.
