About the Role We are looking for multiple Telecommunication/Radio and Field Technicians to assist with the installation and maintenance of our telecommunications systems. In this role, you will combine your technical experience with strong customer service to provide timely response to equipment issues. If you don't have prior experience working with critical communications technologies or on mine sites, we offer comprehensive training and support, so you can work safely to fault find and repair equipment.

The role will include the following tasks:
Design and configure IP networksRepair, maintain and install radio communication, CCTV systems and wireless networksInstall, configure, commission and support CCTV and communications equipmentFault identification and repair of networksConduct RF Active and Passive site surveys, providing in-depth analysisRespond to equipment issues and problem solve to achieve positive outcomes in a timely mannerAbout You To be successful in this role, you will enjoy working in a team environment and demonstrate a strong and professional commitment to safe work practices. Prior experience in the installation, maintenance and fault identification of communications systems is highly regarded. Essential Criteria Cert III or IV in TelecommunicationsACMA OPEN Licence (including structured, coaxial, optic fibre endorsements)Experience in IP network technologies, configuration and fault identificationDemonstrated experience in the installation, maintenance and fault identification of digital radio systemsStructured thinking and sound analytical skills in fault-finding and problem solvingPositive attitude, highly self motivated with good attention to detailDemonstrated ability to follow instructions, work with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a teamExcellent communication and customer service skillsValid Australian manual C class drivers licence and ability to travel as requiredDesirable - considered favourably Experience in mining and resources sector, including current mine site inductionsOrder 43 and Coal Board MedicalsInitial response first aid certificate (or higher)Working at Heights (high risk license with EWP over 11m), and in Enclosed SpacesKnowledge and understanding of network monitoring tools such as SolarwindsPrevious experience with CCTV configuration and installation (Milestone, Bosch, Axis)Cisco qualificationsRajant certification or experienceReports To: Operations ManagerLocations: Mackay and Newcastle regionsPosition type: Full time and flexibleSalary package: $150k including superannuation, generous income protection insurance and wellbeing vouchers.
