The Opportunity Veolia ANZ is seeking a Technician / Operator to join our water team based near Lithgow 2790.
As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating the plant and equipment at the water treatment plant.
What's on offer Attractive rotating roster - 7 days on, 7 days off with day/night shifts Competitive salary plus bonus, overtime, and comprehensive benefits Excellent training and professional development opportunities Work for a global industry leader in ecological transformation Supportive team environment with a strong safety culture Hands on role with variety - operations, maintenance, lab work What you'll be responsible for Monitor plant operations and report on status/condition of plant and systems Undertake laboratory analysis, testing, and sample collection Perform fault-finding, troubleshooting, and first-line maintenance on plant, equipment and processes Maintain housekeeping of plant and administration areas Participate in shift work roster including weekends and holidays Undertake company training programs as required Maintain accurate records and reporting Attend toolbox meetings, production meetings, and other operational meetings Perform duties to ensure functional asset management system Comply with WHS, environmental policies and business management system What you'll need to be successful Trade qualifications for either Mechanical Fitter, Diesel Fitter or Electrical or background working on industrial equipment Experience in general plant operations would be highly regarded Willingness to obtain a cert 3 in water treatment (supported by Veolia) A Veolia Career At Veolia, we're on a mission to build a more sustainable future through ecological transformation.
