Role (Attendance requirement for this position)
Range 4 is distinguished by broader management responsibility, particularly in the areas of finance, human resource and other support functions. Range 4 is responsible for managing a range of functions under a wide range of conditions, subject to the size and complexity of school operations. 
Objectives will, generally, be clearly defined; guidelines will be broad and day-to-day direction minimal. Management responsibility extends to ensuring appropriate support levels are maintained across the school. Range 4 generally provides key support and timely advice to the leadership team and school council and liaises with the general school community, the Department and other government agencies and service providers.
Specialised professional roles will carry a high level of independence and accountability where suitable scope is provided to achieve objectives.
An education support class position supports the educational services being provided to students, but must not include duties of teaching as defined in clause 2.6.1 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic) or its successor. Supervision of students cannot be required except where it is an integral part of the employee¿s position or involves supervision of students individually or in small groups, in controlled circumstances, where the responsibility for students remains clearly with a teacher.
Responsibilities Advise and assist staff in safety matters relating to a specific functional area Develop and implement safety procedures within work and/or teaching areas in accordance with school policy and relevant safety legislation Initiate, design and develop basic computer systems and undertake routine software design. Maintain ICT systems across the school to ensure efficient, effective, and reliable support to administrative and educational functions of the college Support the leadership and administration team to implement the school's reporting system and processes efficiently and effectively Provide advice and support to all system users Analyse and solve problems as they arise Provide proactive maintenance of notebooks, desktops, and audio-visual equipment Provide assistance with cloud-based technologies, such as Google Apps Provide support for tablet technologies, such as iPads Possess the ability to utilise a job management system as part of the ICT support process Provide support to the administration team, both in an administrative and customer service capacity Undertake other duties as required Who May Apply Individuals with the aptitude, experience and/or qualifications to fulfill the specific requirements of the position.

Warragul North Primary School offers a range of different opportunities and experiences for our students to engage in during their schooling years. These include but are not limited to; Senior and Junior Sports Carnivals, Camps and Excursions, Student Leadership, Junior School Council, and Concerts and Productions.
Our Buildings and Grounds are continually redeveloped and maintained. A variety of spaces available include sitting areas, separate play equipment for Foundation, Junior, Middle and Senior students, we also have a grassed oval, sandpits, synthetic Basketball Courts, `Marble Alley¿ a natural material play space, updated Foundation year play spaces.
In conjunction with our school council, and the school community, we are currently developing a whole school plan to increase inclusive and modern play spaces and functional areas around our school grounds. In 2024 our BER Building houses our Foundation Learning space and our Year 1 learning area. We have recently refurbished our senior wing and our junior and middle school buildings provide quiet and stimulating learning spaces for students. Other facilities available at Warragul North Primary include a Library, Gymnasium and Arts Hub.
In 2024 Warragul North Primary School has a current enrolment of 556 students. We have 25 homegroups and offer the following specialist subjects: Physical Education, Visual Art, Performing Arts, STEM, LOTE (Japanese) and Humanities. The staffing profile at Warragul North Primary School consists of the following, 1 Principal, 2 Assistant Principals, 1 Business Manager, 2 Leading Teachers, 1 Learning Specialists, 27 Classroom Teachers, 9 Specialist Teachers, 1 Tutor, 4 Administration Staff and 16 Educational Support Staff. The school chaplain supports students and their families 2 days per week.
