Initial 12 month contract / 12 month extension option Rewarding hourly rates $$$ /Flexibility WFH One of Australia's dynamic  Federal Government Departments  is looking to engage experienced  Technical Writers to join their multidisciplinary team based .  The successful  Technical Writers will develop and maintain project documentation for new and existing software solutions The successful  Technical Writers will secure a  12 month contract  with a  12 month   extension options  with a  rewarding hourly rate.  The successful  Technical Writers will be responsible for, but not limited to: Establish best practice guidelines for architecture, solution design, and technical documentation Review and develop documentation templates that align with best practice documentation standards Work with project delivery teams and subject matter experts to establish and address gaps in existing documentation and artefacts The successful  Technical Writers will have experience in the following: Experience in writing and editing technical specification and user documentation Experience in information architecture and/or content design Experience with source control management ideally GitHub and Bitbuckets Understanding of software architecture patterns and team development tools This is an amazing opportunity to work within a dynamic  Federal Government Department  to join an established digital team.
