Technical Writer - Defence Industry (IT and Engineering)
*MINIMUM REQUIREMENT OF NV1 SECURITY CLEARANCE*
Contract Opportunity - 6 month initial engagement
We are supporting a small to medium sized business that offers a unique set of hardware and software solutions to the Defence industry. They are currently undergoing a key project rolling out a new piece of software, along with a number of other upcoming IT and engineering projects, hence why they are looking to expand the team.
Due to the nature of the Defence industry and the work being conducted in this role, it is absolutely essential that you actively hold a NV1 security clearance at minimum.
Key experience required:
3+ years' experience as a Technical Writer in the defence industry. Experience as a Technical Writer in the IT or Engineering domains. Excellent understanding of Defence tech writing standards across CASG and DDG (CIOG). Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work directly with SMEs. Responsibilities:
Working with System Administrators, Engineers, PMs and other stakeholders to gather necessary information. Writing technical documents in a clear and concise way. Standardising existing documentation. If this is of interest, then apply with the most up-to-date version of your CV.
