Epiroc is now seeking a passionate and motivated Surface Drill Technical Trainer to join our dynamic and expanding training team.
As a Technical Trainer you will work in both our training centre in Perth and on customer sites throughout Australia, providing a dynamic and varied work environment.
This is a unique opportunity for experienced applicants or those with a desire to embark on a rewarding career in training.
Epiroc will develop and mentor the right applicants to ensure success, and offer varying rosters, allowing for a work-life balance that suits your needs.
You will have the option to work either Monday to Friday or on an 8/6 roster, providing flexibility and stability in your schedule.

The key responsibilities of this role include: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on Epiroc surface drills to internal and external customers. Create engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, manuals, and hands-on activities. Conduct training sessions both in a classroom setting and on-site, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development. Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback mechanisms, continuously improving the training programs based on results. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to stay updated on product developments and incorporate them into training materials. The successful candidate will have: Experience operating and maintaining Epiroc surface drills in mining or construction industries. Strong technical knowledge of Epiroc surface drills, their functions, and maintenance requirements. Experience in delivering technical training programs, preferably within the mining or heavy machinery industry. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt training content to various audiences. Proficiency in creating training materials using tools such as PowerPoint. A flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively. Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or in the process of obtaining qualification.
