About the Role As a Technical Trainer, you will assess the development needs of Brandt's service technicians and implement training programs across all branches.
Your responsibilities include creating instructional materials for the repair, maintenance, and operation of heavy equipment.
You will ensure training aligns with continuous improvement, quality, health and safety, and organizational performance by recording, monitoring, and integrating feedback.
Main Responsibilities: • Collaborate on technician development paths and schedules.
• Deliver training as a Certified Dealer Instructor (CDI) or as an in-house expert.
• Develop high-quality educational curriculum for effective equipment operation and repair.
• Identify resources for creating classroom, hands-on, and online training courses.
• Ensure evaluations accurately measure student competence.
• Maintain up-to-date training materials, including course outlines.
• Schedule training with service managers and supervisors.
• Communicate training schedules and course information clearly.
• Document and report student evaluation scores and attendance.
• Prepare and distribute certificates of completion.
• Liaise with external agencies on behalf of Brandt.
About You: We are looking for candidates with a strong blend of technical expertise and training experience.
Applicants will be considered if they have one or both of the following: • A heavy-duty certification along with a strong technical background; or • Previous experience in training and instructional delivery.
Additionally, you should possess: • John Deere Certified Dealer Instructor status or a willingness to obtain it.
• Strong mechanical, analytical, technical, and instructional design skills.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
• Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills.
• Flexibility to meet the training needs of various locations.
• Professional demeanor and commitment to service excellence.
