Role Overview: In the role of Technical Test Lead, you will be responsible for test strategies and plans based on project requirements. This will involve leading test execution and defect management. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, etc. You should be a good mentor and guide for the team members and contribute to creating solutions and approaches for proposals on QA for our customers.
Skill / Experience Requirements:Academics and Work Experience: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 6-10 years of experience with Information Technology.Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.Must Have Skills: Strong experience in UI, API Automation using Selenium (JAVA), Rest Assured, and Postman to develop & maintain Automation framework/libraries, tools.Good understanding and experience in creating robust automation frameworks that are reusable and easily maintainable.Experience in API automation testing.Ability to independently create, execute, and maintain comprehensive automation frameworks.Experience in BDD (Behavior Driven Development)/TDD using tools like Cucumber, Serenity, and Playwright-BDD.Experience in scripting/development (JAVA, J2EE, PL/SQL, Perl, Shell, Python, etc.).Experience in Code Coverage tools like Jacoco, JSCover, Sonar, etc.Experience with build automation tools such as Maven, Gradle, etc.Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Bamboo.Experience with code version controlling tools like GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.Experience with project management tools like JIRA, ALM, Rally, etc.Ability to efficiently lead a team of automation testers which is not co-located (onshore/offshore model).Demonstrated experience managing and building effective working relationships at all levels of an organization.Strong communication skills and good stakeholder management.Nice to Have Skills: Exposure to latest trends in Quality Engineering, such as RPA, Analytics-driven testing, and usage of AI/ML in QA.Knowledge of GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot and their adoption within enterprises.Experience with mobile automation solutions like UFT Mobile and others to provide fit-for-purpose solutions for our clients.Please note that Infosys does not accept any unsolicited resumes from third-party vendors.
