Coordinate, manage and execute the technical and production services for all production and events
Motivate and lead a team of Venues Technicians in a dynamic environment that has delivered 196 unique events across 265 event days and 283 performances or sessions in the last yearPlay a key role in Council's Entertainment Venues Division where over 75,000 tickets are sold every yearCOULD THIS BE YOU? Experience within a performing arts centre or venue with practical knowledge of event staging activities including stagecraft, lighting, audio, vision, flying, rigging and basic stage management procedures is essential.
The Technical Supervisor is responsible for: Coordinate, manage and execute of technical and production services for in-house productions, venue hirers and clients. Ensuring that all technical aspects of the venues and equipment are well maintained, and that client requirements are met satisfactorily with the facilities available.Engage and lead staff to support the technical requirements of the venues as required.Work with the Operations & Production Coordinator to ensure all operational aspects of the venues including maintenance and compliance are met.Oversee all technical aspects pertaining to the use of staging, rigging and associated theatrical and concert equipment across all areas.To ultimately, coordinate, manage and deliver the technical and operational aspects and services of Council venues so that the needs of users of the venues are met, primarily for but not limited to the TRECC, Capitol Theatre Tamworth, Tamworth War Memorial Town Hall and Tamworth Community Centre.

Salary range: Grade 16 -$90,795.93 - $98,247.03 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation for a 38 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
