Technical Specialist (M365 & Teams Voice)The Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) is currently seeking applications for a Technical Specialist (M365 & Teams Voice), to join the Enterprise Technology Group (ETG) .This position can be located in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney or Perth and will be on an ongoing basis.Remuneration: The annual salary for the position is EL1 $113,357 to $133,423 p.a., plus a generous employer superannuation contribution of 15.4%. Some out of hours work may be required for which overtime is payable.About the opportunity:We are seeking an experienced M365 Engineer who has an in depth understanding of the Microsoft Suite including Exchange and Teams, and their application across an Enterprise. You will need to build a strong M365 Engineering culture by developing best practices for the organisation. Your role will also include the proactive management and addressing of application security and integrity vulnerabilities.ETG's Technical Specialist role provides technical expertise to support the successful implementation and delivery of systems underpinning the AAT's Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) strategy and operations. The role will also support improvements to operational practices.The Technical Specialist will provide authoritative advice and guidance to ETG Directors, and the project, development and operations teams. The role also requires you to identify opportunities and risks with the current and planned systems, deliver well-reasoned, structured and definitive actions and provide insights into innovation and performance from technical products to achieve high quality service delivery.About you:To be successful you will:Have specialist knowledge that includes the Microsoft server stack and/or a deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Exchange online.Have previous involvement in the evaluation of new system software and the production of a written report on the outcome of that evaluation. You will also be responsible for the provisioning and testing of new versions of system software.Be experienced in technical leadership to optimise the performance of Microsoft on-premises, Azure, Citrix and VMware IT infrastructure. Have demonstrated capability in investigating and managing the adoption of tools, techniques, and processes (including automation) for the management of Microsoft 365, Teams and Exchange Online.Have demonstrated capability in investing and managing the adoption of tools, techniques and processes (including automation) for the management of Microsoft 365, Teams and Exchange Online.Have proven experience at providing effective team leadership, including information flow to and from the stakeholders during project work.Keep up to date on Microsoft Teams and M365 releases and be able to make suggestions on releases and the effect they will have to the DirectorsMandatory:Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance. Academic qualification (degree, postgraduate) in technology and/or aligned qualificationsVocational certification in modern technologies (e.g., cloud, software, platforms)Vocational certification in modern design and governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT)Position Eligibility Requirements:The AAT requires Australian Citizenship as a condition of engagement.All employees are required to undertake an Australian Federal Police Check and health assessment.More information about this position, the scope of the role, duties and required capabilities and experience, is contained within the Position Description for this role, available from the Working at the AAT page of our website, www.aat.gov.au.About the AAT:The Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) plays a crucial role in the Australian legal landscape, providing a process for individuals and organisations to seek an independent review of decisions made under a wide range of Commonwealth laws.Please note that the AAT will be transitioning to a new merits review body in 2024 to be called the Administrative Review Tribunal.
