Laboratory Automation Solutions, our clinical diagnostic division, specializes in the manufacture of small, innovative benchtop automation for optimizing pre- and post-analytical workflows in pathology laboratories, and has installations worldwide. We are searching for a recent engineering graduate to join our team as we accelerate our growth journey.
This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is servicing the medical industry in providing laboratory automation products that make a difference in the world. What you'll do: Perform on-site servicing, preventative and corrective maintenance of products, primarily in Pathology Laboratories.
Technical resource to support internal teams for any technical service-related activities.
Conduct test procedures to ensure proper product performance.
Collaborate with all stakeholders to identify and assist with the creation of systems and processes to ensure the efficient operation of the Customer Solutions Group.
Implement upgrades and hardware/software change orders.
Assist with the Troubleshooting of complex technical hardware and software issues and liaise with Engineering Teams.
Provide local and remote technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment.
Follow documented procedures to ensure traceability of problems, resolutions and corrective actions as well as escalation of product non-conformance trends and utilization.
What you'll bring: Recent undergraduate degree in engineering (mechatronics/mechanical/biomedical).
Electromechanical and software experience would be beneficial.
Any previous experience in the robotics field in a professional services organization will be highly regarded.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills (written and oral) using business and user-friendly language with a commercial mindset.
Ability to think outside the box to troubleshoot complex technical products and customer challenges.
Self-motivated, results-driven and well organized and able to handle multiple tasks with a clear sense of ownership and priority.
A current full drivers' license and reliable vehicle.
