Job Description: HPE GreenLake Platform Cloud (GLCP) team allows you the opportunity to collaborate with both creative and engineering types to build HPE's next generation cloud platform. Combining agile methodologies and a continuous integration and delivery pipeline, the GreenLake Cloud Platform partners with all of HPE and powers HPE's transformation as a true cloud-native provider. On the GLCP team you will build innovative cloud platform capabilities that enables the delivery of rich HW and SW aaS solutions to customers.
The Technical Solutions Consultant applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
Your Key Responsibilities: Successfully resolve technical issues (hardware and software) from incoming internal or external businesses and end user's contacts and proactive notification systems. Respond to service, product, technical, and customer-relations questions on subjects such as features, specifications, and repairs on current and discontinued products, parts, and options, based on customer entitlement (warranty through mission-critical). Proactively assist internal or external businesses and end users to avoid or reduce problem occurrence. Ability to act as a mentor and guide other employees. Ability to provide direction and guidance to process improvements. Ability to articulate clearly, recommend and explain resolutions to clients. Understand and utilize ITIL. Represent the company in a face-to-face customer location visit, industry conference/trade show, vendor meeting, etc. About You: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the language to be supported. Advanced troubleshooting skills in a technical environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. We are looking for you to join our team as a Kubernetes and Docker Engineer to design, build and implement cloud-native architectures with Kubernetes Docker and related technologies for us. Responsible for overall Docker & Kubernetes setup, configuration, and architecture. Configuring and maintaining/supporting a large scale Docker based environment using Kubernetes. Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Docker and Kubernetes environment. Ensure proper operational aspects including monitoring, reporting, backup for both Docker hosts and associated images and containers. Good understanding of Linux and Networking concepts. General operational expertise such as good troubleshooting skills, understanding of systems capacity, bottlenecks, basics of memory, CPU, OS, storage, and networks. Good knowledge of airflow, spark, SQL, livy, superset, kubeflow, mlflow, feast, ray. Intermediate Shell Scripting skills and Basic programming skills ideally in Java or Python. Should be a self-starter who is excited about learning new technology. Good understanding of Hadoop Architecture and understanding of distributed systems and distributed computation. Self-driven, ability to work independently and as part of a team with a proven track record. Good understanding of AI/ML is an added advantage.
