About the role
Based in the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP) team, a transformative initiative shaping the future of rail transport in Queensland, we are seeking a dynamic and innovative specialist to spearhead the integration and evolution of our operating systems to align with the train to shore requirements for the QTMP Program.
Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include Lead the design and development of system modifications and maintain architecture states and transition roadmaps to seamlessly integrate with existing systems.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and define user requirements, ensuring solutions meet both current and future needs.Manage the end-to-end design process and oversee the end-to-end technical delivery process, ensuring alignment with the programs objectives by coordinating across teams to support solution design, integration, testing and transition.Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, translating operational needs into technical solutions.Monitor progress, troubleshoot challenges, and support timely delivery of project milestones.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, ICT specialists and third parties to ensure cohesive system designs and alignment with project goals.About you
• Proven experience and knowledge in corporate and operational systems and solutions design, integration, or a related technical field, preferable with a transport or rail context.
• Expertise in system and solution design and architecture frameworks and proficiency with relevant tools.
• Proven experience in deploying and supporting new or established technologies, with a strong emphasis on change management, stakeholder engagement at multiple levels.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A track record of technically supporting complex projects in dynamic environments.
