Are you ready to be part of a dedicated team at Yokogawa Australia, a global leader in industrial automation and control solutions? We're seeking a skilled and proactive Technical Service Engineer to join our Solutions Delivery team in Newcastle.
As a Technical Service Engineer at Yokogawa Australia, you'll be a key contributor within our Solutions Delivery team.
Responsibilities: Provide engineering, support, and maintenance services for Industrial Control Systems (ICS) solutions and applications.Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and deliver proactive technical support.Participate in the design, implementation, testing, and commissioning of projects.Offer internal support to other Service/Engineering and Sales teams as required.Maintain and accurately report on all projects, engineering, and service tasks.Ensure the delivery of OT engineering, support, and maintenance solutions.Take technical responsibility for OT projects, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and quality requirements.Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers.To succeed in this role, you should have: A qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, IT, mechatronics, mechanical, or chemical engineering, or equivalent experience.At least two years of experience in an OT environment.Computer literacy and understanding of concepts related to SCADA, Distributed Control Systems, IT-OT Convergence, SOC's, OT security best practices, industrial networking, Active Directory, WSUS, AV, Backup and Restore, Virtualization, OT security information and event management (SIEM) systems, Log Management, Management of Change, and Industrial data historians.Why Join Yokogawa Australia: Global Leader: Yokogawa is a recognized global leader in industrial automation and control solutions.Innovation: Be part of a team that continuously pushes the boundaries of technology to solve complex industrial challenges.Professional Development: We invest in your growth by offering training and career advancement opportunities.About us: Yokogawa is a renowned name in the world of industrial automation and control, with a legacy spanning over a century.
