With our long-term contracts and commitment to employee development, we stand at the forefront of providing specialised training and assessment services, ensuring our team not only meets but exceeds industry standards.About the OpportunityBMS Strata Systems is seeking a full-time Technical Sales Representative to engage with current and potential clients and suppliers to ensure the sale and timely delivery of services and product. The role is primarily based out of our Mackay office but will require site visits, travel, and accommodation away from home within Australia and Overseas if required.Your key responsibilities of this pivotal role will include, but not be limited to:Management of any relevant mines' requests for product to maximise the financial return to the Company.All organisation of stock, stock management and forecasting as allocated by the Warehouse Manager.Preparation of quotes, purchase orders and invoices in consultation with Operations Manager and Accounts & Payroll.Observation of all OH&S requirements when on mine sites, in the Company warehouse and with handling of any relevant product, especially chemicals.Ensuring all products have up to date SDS sheets and that these are supplied to the client as needed.Providing Management with a monthly report of targets, sales and costings.Achieving monthly budgeted chargeable products, and maximising financial return to the Company.Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with clients and mine site personnel.Understanding the company mission, vision, policies, objectives and other requirements of the quality, safety and environment management system.Ensuring compliance with safety standards, legislative requirements, company and client procedures and policies.Maintaining an up-to-date awareness of all relevant safety requirements, legislation, and policies.About YouExposure to the mining industry – preferably the coal industry.Chemical and product experience.Self-motivated.Ensures attention to detail and delivery of services that exceed client's expectations.Ability to provide up to date advice to clients on best product and application.Strong communication, time management and organisational skills.Flexible, adaptable and resilient to stress.Organised, punctual, and committed to delivering what and when is verbally and contractually agreed to.About the BenefitsAs a valued employee you can expect an attractive salary ($160,000 - $180,000) PLUS additional benefits such as:Car, Laptop & Phone.A permanent position with a competitive remuneration package.Annual potential bonus – based on performance and KPI achievements.Access to further training and personal development.Four weeks of Annual Leave each year.Salary packaging available through Salary Packing Australia (SPA).Join our team and make a significant impact in the mining industry.
