About The Role

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining existing customers across the commercial and structural markets. Providing technical guidance and support to clients, processing quotes, and converting sales opportunities while maintaining CRM accuracy. An office-based role with some travel to key clients and trade shows from time to time.

Duties

Maintain relationships with existing key commercial customersProvide bespoke technical support and solution sellingManage & quote new opportunities in the commercial and structural markets that are generated through inbound leads & enquiriesConversion of sales opportunities from quote to orderProvide market intelligence and customer feedback as requiredRecord, manage and maintain all activities in CRMActively support and model the values of the organisation

Skills & Experience

Sales or proactive customer service experience in B2B environment within construction, civil, plumbing or building related industryTechnical aptitude - formal education / training / experience in technical construction or civil construction / engineering or mechanical processes.Ability to read and understand technical drawings or specificationsStrong verbal and written communicationExperience with longer lead time environmentsCRM managementStrong computer skillsMultitasking and time managementExperience working in an autonomous environment and / or with a small team
