The company is currently going through an exciting growth phase as we expand our sales and distribution network across Australia.
This position will assist in the development of new business opportunities through the creation and implementation of wheel and tyre solutions for OE Manufacturers, Tyre Dealers and Machinery Dealers across Australia.
It will provide required technical support and training to the agricultural and industrial wheel and tyre sales teams, including our Dealer network.
This technical support and sales role requires engineering and practical mechanical abilities and is well suited to an experienced agricultural and/or industrial wheel and tyre specialist.
Key ResponsibilitiesFormulation of practical and price competitive customized wheel and tyre options for OEM's, Machinery Dealers and Machinery Suppliers based on application, machine specifications and a thorough understanding of market requirements.Collaboration with the technical drawing draftsperson to develop wheel drawings including all specifications and dimensions.Make recommendations to improve wheel and tyre performance and design.Review and improve the accessibility of the extensive machine specification database.Provide technical advice to sales staff, Machinery Dealers, Machinery Suppliers and OEM's.Analyze and provide feedback on market pricing vs competitors.Undertake travel to visit key account OEM customers, dealers and to support BDM's wheel and tyre customers.Support agricultural and industrial BDM's and Branch Managers through development and implementation of product and applications training modules and sales support materials.Provide feedback to global product teams on market requirements and potential new products for the Australian market.Customer ServiceMaintain strong customer relationships based on excellent service and professional technical solutions.Identify, resolve or escalate customer queries, requests and issues.Deal with warranty claims – initial enquiry receipt and appropriate escalation activities.Maintain detailed knowledge and understanding of all company products.Workforce DevelopmentAct as expert for Agricultural market, product and technical understanding.In conjunction with the Head of Agricultural develop and maintain appropriate training and skill testing programs.AdministrationProvide relevant data and information into the company CRM and leverage benefit related to the use of this marketing tool.Sales reporting in an accurate and timely manner.Gather and report market intelligence about competitors.Communicate internally with other business functions to ensure customer commitments are met.Identify and communicate to procurement team inventory issues likely to impact on sales. #J-18808-Ljbffr
