The Grains directorate is seeking a passionate and motivated Technical Officer to join the Crop Protection branch located in Albany. This is a great opportunity to establish a career in grains research.The successful candidate will support projects in entomology and plant pathology that focus on crop protection. Our research contributes to understanding and managing insect pests and plant diseases that impact various grains in the WA wheatbelt. In this position, you will assist with a variety of research trials with a mix of field, laboratory, and glasshouse work. Field trials will include establishing, managing, monitoring for pests, plant diseases, spraying, and harvesting trials at a range of locations.
