Come and join us in building the infrastructure our planet needs to achieve a sustainable future.We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Structures Supervisor to join the Alkimos Desalinisation project.As a Structures Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing this major infrastructure project, ensuring it's executed with precision and in adherence to safety and quality standards. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, the Structures Supervisor will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.The ProjectThe Alkimos SeaWater Alliance project will deliver WA's next major water source - a new seawater desalination plant at Alkimos. At completion of stage 1, the plant will supply up to 50 billion litres of clean, safe drinking water to millions of Western Australians each year. The project includes the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks.ResponsibilitiesEfficient application and deployment of labour, plant, and other resources to the area or areas of the project allocated.Responsible for the safe undertaking of all works on your site on any given day, including the safety of all site personnel.Participate in or conduct site audits, client meetings, sign-offs, safety inspections and other requirements, at appropriate stages for each project.Review budgets and KPIs for allocated projects monthly and flag any issues with Discipline Leads.Required Skills10 years' hands-on experience as a Supervisor/Leading Hand/Operator in the construction engineering industry, in related disciplines such as Structures and earthworks and associated civil infrastructure.Certificate III in Occupational Health and Safety (or similar Safety Leadership-type program).Experience working in water infrastructure projects.Trade certificate or similar.What we offerAt ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
