OverviewSee yourself in our team:As the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the SA Operations, acting as a Subject Matter Expert for internal stakeholders. You will additionally be acting as a technical reference point & providing coaching and advice in accordance with local legislation and business unit procedures. How you'll make an impactOn a day to day basis you will:Provide high quality, face to face wherever possible, customer service and technical support to claims teams about the claim management process in line with legislation and best practice guidelines;Provide subject matter expert knowledge for internal technical training sessions as requested to ensure formal determinations are made in a timely manner;Assisting the claims teams in their achievement of KPIs & Service guidelines by;Guiding, advising and assisting stakeholders who require specialist technical assistance;Providing claims strategy recommendations;Undertaking adverse decision quality reviews and endorsements;Appropriately escalating claims for formal investigation as required;Working closely with the internal stakeholders to produce a return to work or review of entitlements;Ensuring outcomes are effectively communicated and actioned within specified timeframes;Review and provide feedback about current claim management practices and procedures ensuring emerging trends are identified and managed.
