This Vacancy is in the Rail Programs team, part of the Eastern Harbour City & Corridors. The type of projects may include More Trains More Services, Regional Rail/SSEW2, and other various heavy rail projects.The primary focus of the role is to manage specialist technical engineering services delivered by AEOs, ensuring that an engineering framework is developed and maintained which supports the Project Team in the delivery of projects within clearly defined safety, scope, quality, time and cost constraints.You will:Lead Technical Services management of project development and deliveryManage and contribute to review of submitted plans and design documentationManage and provide your input in Safety in Design workshops, and other safety-related workshops.Have good understanding of multidisciplinary aspects, interfaces and systems integration.Determine and apply project governance and assurance requirements that comply with the principles of the relevant Engineering Management PlanManage value and risk based on sound judgement and engineering fundamentalsApply commercial awareness in contributing to management of contract procurement and administrationCoordinate and consult with project functional teams and stakeholders to agree strategy and approachProvide technical advice to cross-functional teamsPrepare proposals, briefing reports, progress reports, etc.Reconcile stakeholders' disparate aspirations to settle on project outcomes that deliver for the greater good.About youYou will be a team player who can work with a minimum of direct supervision, has advanced communication skills and a commitment to customer service, and is open to achieving aspirational project requirements through the application of innovation and intelligent compliance with Standards.
