The opportunity As a Technical Engineer in the Finance Transformation team, you will play a critical role in ensuring delivery and execution of the digitisation and automation roadmap. Operating as part of the Finance Transformation Team in the CFO domain, you will be the high value specialist bringing technical and programming knowledge and are able to provide advice to execute and advance with architectural designs and digitisation initiatives. You will collaborate and support CIO and COO teams in translating functional requirements into technical solutions to benefit the Finance teams.
You will have the ability to learn quickly, to make high level intuitive decisions, to see the bigger picture, to lead from the front, and to inspire others. You will be expected to identify opportunities to drive automation and digitization of existing processes and enhance existing or implement new controls within the Finance department while ensuring optimum design.
The Team You will be a member of a newly formed Finance Transformation team. The team is tasked with coordination and execution (in cooperation with other Finance teams) of Finance Transformation Roadmap, Data Architecture, Project Management and Process Improvement in the form of both digitisation and automation across the Finance Department.

What you'll do Develop and implement Process Enhancements within the Finance Domain (Financial Control, Treasury, Finance Business Advice, Tax, etc.).Lead development, configuration & testing of automation solutions in SQL Server & where applicable, SSIS, SAS, PowerShell & Python.Review, improve & simplify existing processes, such as ETL processes or robotics, & ensure they are harmonised across Finance.Work on the development & rollout of initiatives cross-functions to enhance the finance capabilities.Drive data further into the business using your knowledge & initiative to develop & implement innovative solutions to new & old problems.Assist the team in translating functional requirements from the business into technical solutions, & assist in determining the best technological solution(s) in each case, prior to work being executed.What we're looking for Strong SQL & Databases.Strong Coding (Python, Java etc.).3-5 years of relevant experience.Data Modelling and ETL.Experience with Visualisation Tools like Tableau.High analytic, problem-solving, lateral thinking and interpretive skills.Strong attention to detail.What's in it for you?
