Technical Director, StructureResponsibilities: Control and management of the whole life cycle of the projects in the Structure TeamWorking within a multi-discipline team of engineers, technicians and other professionals to develop engineering designs from concept to detailed design and specificationsLiaise with Clients in relation to project progress, decisions and changes to ensure deliverables are met and produced on time and budgetBe a team leader to develop and grow the team with P&L responsibilitiesAttend design meetings, site meetings and all other project related meetingsResponsible for business proposal/tendering and commercial negotiationsSeek for business opportunities across APAC regions proactivelyRequirements: Bachelor's degree with professional qualification in Civil / Structural Engineering or other related disciplinesMembership of HKIE or other equivalent professional bodiesRegistered Structural Engineer is preferredAt least 20 years' experience, of which minimum 12 years post qualification experience in design / construction managementMust have relevant design experience in building or infrastructure projects including foundation, Reinforced Concrete & Steel structures (including complex connection design)Subject Matter Expert in steelwork as it relates to design and erection of long span steelwork, staged analysis and construction engineering.Knowledge of construction documents, contracts, cost and programme is an advantageGood interpersonal and technical skills and the ability to deliver schemes to a high technical standard on time and within budgetStrong communication skills and confidence to liaise and develop long term relationships with clients to ensure the commercial and technical success of projectsGood command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
