How will I help? The Senior Project Manager - Application Delivery is responsible for leading and managing project activities that deliver technology solutions, enabling Westpac to achieve its strategic goals, business benefits and outcomes.
Your key accountabilities will include:
Providing ongoing Technology Project Management mentoring and coaching support to assist implementation of Projects, work closely with project sponsors, product/platform managers, and other relevant team members to increase knowledge and elevate performance through one-on-one coachingLeading technology delivery across Enterprise systems: Digital, Customer originations, Digital, Staff Assisted, Product Originations, Data platform, Group Customer Master, Financial crime systemsReviewing project proposals or plans to determine time frames, funding, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of available departmental resources to various phases of each projectReleasing Management – Lead the implementation activities span cross multiple applications and business divisionsRecommending and overseeing process improvementsWhat do I need? You will be an experienced IT Project Manager in banking & financial services, and have a strong understanding of the overall project lifecycle and be able to lead, design, build, test and implement phases. You will have agile delivery experience and a good understanding of applications landscape in a complex organization. In addition, you must also have:
Technical delivery experience with applications & be able to manage complex integrations between systemsExperience in a Technology team Financial ServicesHighly desirable: Experience in Financial CrimeE2E software delivery experienceTertiary qualifications in Computer Science or related disciplineExcellent stakeholder management experienceAbility to lead and think outside the square
