Location: Woolloongabba, Queensland Type: Fixed Term Contract Job #17373 Salary: A$127,363 Overview As the Task Allocation and Delivery Coordinator, you will oversee the efficient distribution of tasks across projects and BAU teams, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are utilized effectively.
You'll collaborate with managers, team leaders, and service providers to ensure technical delivery aligns with project objectives, operational goals, and organisational strategy.
Responsibilities Provide strategic advice and leadership on projects to develop policies, influence practices, and improve operational outcomes.
Work with managers and team leaders to allocate tasks, aligning skill sets and team capacity to project and BAU requirements.
Analyse data and provide insights to guide decision-making on complex and strategic issues.
Supervise detailed analysis of organisational and operational needs to inform policy and procedural recommendations.
Track task progress, proactively identify risks, and escalate critical issues for swift resolution.
Develop strategies and provide sound advice to enhance organisational performance through high-level reviews and investigations.
Prepare technical reports and committee papers detailing task status, potential risks, challenges, and milestones.
Oversee relationships with service providers to ensure outsourced tasks align with project objectives and quality standards.
Foster effective communication and collaboration between internal teams and service providers to avoid delays and resolve issues.
Build capability within teams by providing the necessary support, resources, and direction to enhance operational efficiency.
Work collaboratively with school-based role holders and leadership teams to drive area-specific outcomes.
Skills Tertiary qualifications in a related field or equivalent experience in a similar role (highly regarded).
5+ years of experience in technical delivery, task management, or project management/coordination within IT or technology-driven projects.
Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and software development processes.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working across applications & solution projects.
Experience with cross-functional teams and large-scale IT projects.
Knowledge of AI, cloud technologies, SDLC, or IT infrastructure management is a plus.
Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
Eligibility to hold a Positive Notice Blue Card for working with children.
Ability to provide proof of identity during the interview process.
A current and valid Queensland Driver's Licence (if required).
Project management qualifications desirable (e.g., CAPM, PMP, MSP, MoP, PMBOK, PRINCE2).
